Camogie News

Our U16's played Nenagh on Wednesday night in Nenagh and following a great come back in the second half narrowly lost out. The girls will play Slieve Phelim in Gortnahoe on Wednesday evening in Gortnahoe and travel to Drom on Sunday morning next.

Our u14's start their season on Thursday night next when they travel to Carrick on Suir. Our Junior girls had a great win at home to Ballyragget on Saturday evening and were back in action on Sunday afternoon when they narrowly lost against Cashel in Cashel. The girls welcome Moycarkey Borris to Gortnahoe next weekend.

We took part in our first U12 blitz of the season on Saturday morning in Templetuohy and our girls had three great wins over Moycarkey Borris, Moyne Templetuohy and St Pat's (Drangan).

We thank all the parents players and especially the coaches for all the hard work and travelling during this busy phase.

Schools action

Well done to Gortnahoe NS U13 hurlers on a comprehensive victory over Moyglass in the first round of the championship. It was great to see so many players togged out and ready for action.

Well done to Eimear Teehan from Gortnahoe NS who has been selected for the Tipperary Primary Game team to play against Clare on April 24th in Semple Stadium.
