In the modern day ,an Astro turf playing surface ,seems to be the busiest facility in any parish,,

But in particular this winter it was used to the max,,when the rest of our teams took a well earned rest,,our newly crowned over 40s champions of Las Vegas,put the nets to the test,and the nets lost,,with the likes of John Stokes rattling in goals for fun,,the nets never really stood a chance.

As a token of the team’s appreciation for the use of the facilities,,members of the over 40s clubbed in to replace them for the coming season,,with the field season already started,,we are all looking forward to putting the nets to the test,

This Sunday sees over 16 teams from all over the country coming to the Gaa grounds to participate in our over 40s blitz,,which is in aid of autism guide dogs,,you can donate on the day ,or if you can’t attend you can revolut to the below details,or simply use the Qr code on the banner below,,,
