The U12 White team played their county final last Sunday against Nenagh in tough weather conditions in Boherlahan. They played against a strong wind in the first half and held Nenagh scoreless.

Nenagh packed their defence in the second half and made it very difficult for the girls to score.

Gortnahoe`s persistence paid off when Clodagh Teehan and Grainne Daly struck with 2 goals in the final quarter to win the match.

Captain Zarah Loughnane & Vice captain Arlene Flanagan lifted the cup to the delightment of the Gortnahoe crowd.
